Brush-On 60
Product Code:SORBO60P
Mold rubber extremely versatile, famous for its abrasion resistance and high tear strength. Easy to mix and apply with a brush or spatula onto vertical surfaces without sagging and will capture exact detail from any original model. Cure with negligible shrinkage to durable rubber that performs and last in production. Brush-On 60 possesses superior abrasion resistance and tear strength and is ideal for casting concrete and hard plasters in applications where less flexibility is required.
To prevent adhesion between the rubber and model surface, models made of porous materials (gypsum plasters, concrete, wood, stone, etc...), must be sealed (with SuperSeal or One Step) prior to applying a release agent. A high quality spray shellac is suitable for sealing modeling clays that contain sulfur or moisture (water based) and polystyrene. For most applications, release agent (Universal Mold Release) is necessary. Once the mold is fully cured, a rigid support shell (mother mold ) is needed to support the rubber mold during casting. Plasti-Paste II is ideal as a mother mold material. In & Out II is recommended for releasing abrasive materials like concrete.
