Brushable silicone that will cure with negligible shrinkage. Self-thickens for making fast brush-on molds of almost any model. Properly applied, it will hold a vertical surface to make a strong and durable production mold for casting wax, gypsum, concrete or resin and will reproduce the finest detail. Applications include reproducing sculpture, architectural restoration, candle molds, etc... Although not usually necessary, a release agent will make demolding easier when brushing over most surfaces or casting material inside (Ease Release 200 or Ease-Release 205 for casting resins, and In & Out II for concrete).
Add Thi-Vex thickener for greater thixotropy. Add Silicone Thinner to the initial mix to lower the viscosity of the “print coat". Once the mold is fully cured, a rigid support shell (mother mold) is necessary to support the rubber mold during casting. Plasti-Paste II is a trowelable plastic ideal as a mother mold material.
