CN202-Bright Grey
Product Code:D8CN202D
An excellent way to add color to bisque. Great for translucent or solid coverage, simple designs, or the detailed majolica technique. One, two, or three coats may be applied. One coat coverage is translucent. Two-coat coverage is semi-translucent or semi-opaque. Three-coat coverage is generally opaque and gloss finish. However, some colors do not fire as shiny as others; therefore, Clear Glaze is recommended (Pure Brilliance-Brush-On and Pure Brilllance-Dipping or IN1001). Can be used directly on bisque, between some glazes, under some glazes, over some glazes, over fired underglazes, in conjunction with E-Z Stroke. They also, can be mixed and used with French Dimensions.
General firing temperature is cone 06; however, some Concepts can be fired up to cone 10, so they may be applied to stoneware and porcelain clay bodies. (Firing test needed). Concepts must be stilted when they are applied to the bottom of a piece, whether glazed or not. (If not, pieces could stick to the kiln shelf during firing).
ON THE LEFT:
Cone: 06
Finish: Translucent to Opaque (depending on the coats applied)
Dinnerware Safe: Yes (When covered with a dinnerware safe glaze)
