An excellent way for the potters, the jewelers and glass artists, (particularly popular with jewelry and ornament makers), to hold up the work in a kiln firing. By suspending small forms from an interior unglazed hole, the entire exterior of the pieces like beads, pendants, buttons, etc., can be glazed for that crisp, all-over glazed finish without the worry of them sticking to the kiln shelf. The Large Bead Rack is made from two durable cast stoneware supports with six 10'' long nichrome wires. (Can also accomodate 6'' replacement wires). The wires rest on grooves in the rack, so they can be easily rearranged to accomodate different size pieces. It is recommended to use shorter wires when firing heavy items. Measuring 6,5`'' in height, it is still compact enough to fit inside of most test kilns, which means getting the most out of every firing. Can fire to cone 10 repeatedly and come equipped with high-temperature wire.
