Speckled clay, very good for throwing and modeling. The speckles will show through the glaze and will make th epieces look like rustic pieces fired at high temperature in reduction. The manganese contained in this clay can cause blistering to some glazes. Contains manganese so, a kiln vent should be used during the firing.
