A very nice glass blower's kiln with an easy access, a glistening control panel, a built-in stand and a crucible cover lifting assembly. The Vulcan II heats approximately 50 pounds of glass to molten temperature. Allows to mix custom glass colors, make huge glass figurines, paper weights, blown vessels, stringers, and much more. The walls are made with rugged K-25 firebricks 4 1/2'' thick, designed for prolonged periods at high temperature, The K-25 firebrick bottom, lid and crucible cover are 3'' thick. Comes with a S-type platinum thermocouple, Kanthal APM elements, an heavy galvanized steel base covering entirely the reversible brick bottom and a digital controller for an exact consistency of glass.
