FGR-95 Hydrocal

A fast-setting, high-strength, gypsum cement, specially formulated for use with glass fiber for fabricating glass-reinforced architectural designs. Ideal for producing lightweight, thin-cast, architectural casts. Its superior fabrication flexibility allows to effectively duplicates a large variety of pieces, formerly made of plaster, wood, concrete and stone. Accepts most coatings and finishes.


Proper Mixing of Plaster/Gypsum Cement

Mixing Ratio: 31-36 Water:100 FGR 95 by Weight
Hand Mix VICAT Set: 45-75 Minutes
Compressive Strength, Dry: 10 000 PSI
Glass Fiber Recommendations: 5-6% by Weight (Type E Chopped to 3/4" Length)
